Review the Job Description. Align the job duties and requirements with your own experience and qualifications to determine why you're the best fit for the position.
Prepare Your Résumé. If you have a résumé, be sure it is up to date with your most recent employment and educational history. Proofread and spell check your résumé to eliminate any grammatical errors. Bring 2-3 copies of your résumé to the interview with you.
Prepare Your References. If you are selected for an interview, you will be asked to provide the contact information for 2-3 personal or professional references at the time of your interview.
Be On Time. On time means 10-15 minutes early to the scheduled interview time. It is a good idea to research the interview location to determine the commute time and available parking. Allow extra time for traffic delays and parking difficulties.
Dress Professionally. Abide by the "Dress for the job you want, not the job you have" philosophy. You may wish to refer to the abridged version of Credit Union 1's Dress Code Policy for information about dressing for success at Credit Union 1.
Be Prepared to Answer Common Interview Questions. Such as:
Describe your interest in the position.
