NOTE:  Digital Banking will not be available October 1 - 3 for the system update. We are excited to introduce our new Digital Banking service on Monday, October 4, 2021.

Key Dates

September 30, 2021 | The system upgrade will begin at 7:00 pm CST.  Online & Mobile Banking, and Shared Branching services will be unavailable beginning at 7:00 pm CST through Monday morning October 4, 2021. You will be able to use your Debit Card for purchases and at ATMs. You will be able to use your Credit Card.

October 1, 2021 | CU1 Online & Mobile Banking unavailable.
Branches are open, but transaction types may be limited.

October 2, 2021 | CU1 Online & Mobile Banking unavailable.
All Credit Union 1 branches are closed.

October 3, 2021 | CU1 Online & Mobile Banking unavailable.

October 4, 2021 | CU1 Open For Business with our shiny new digital banking system! We expect digital banking to become available by 12:00 pm CST.

How to Prepare

As we prepare for our new system, our primary goal is to limit the impact on our members. We are significantly investing in technology, time, and commitment and are working diligently to make the transition as smooth and seamless as possible for you.

What You Can Do To Prepare

  1. Make sure your contact information is correct on our system by September 20, 2021.
  2. We recommend you download a year's worth of eStatements for your records. This can be done by logging in to Online/Mobile Banking and selecting Accounts> Electronic Documents.
     
  3. You will not be able to access Online Bill Pay September 30, 2021 at 7:00 PM CST - October 4, 2021 12:00 PM CST. We highly recommend adjusting any payments that are due during our conversion timeframe to ensure timely payment.
     
  4. Keep an eye out for communications regarding the upgrade to come via statements, email, on our website and social media, and through Online Banking.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • Many transactions previously scheduled in the current digital banking system will be carried over to the new system and processed as normal, however, there are some that will not transfer over and will need to be setup in the new digital banking platform on/or after October 4, 2021 12:00 PM CST. We recommend validating all previously scheduled transactions when you login to the new digital banking platform.
     
  • Any External Transfers will need to be setup again in the new digital banking platform.
     
  • Alerts will need to be setup in the new digital banking platform.
     
  • All previously entered Bill Pay information will remain in your Online Bill Pay profile. No action is required. We recommend that you verify everything once you get logged in to the new system.

Why is Credit Union 1 upgrading its digital banking system?

We are upgrading our digital banking system to improve our services, efficiency, and accommodate growth. Our new digital banking system will allow us to provide you more capabilities, offerings and enhance your experience with us.

When will the new digital banking service be available?

You will not be able to access digital banking September 30, 2021 at 7:00 pm CST - October 4, 2021. We expect your new digital banking service for Consumers and Businesses will be available beginning Monday, October 4, 2021 at 12:00 PM CST.

Is there any action required to start using the new digital banking system?

Yes. In order to avoid delays in accessing the new system, please verify/update your contact information to ensure the information we have on record is accurate by Monday, September 20, 2021

Existing Digital Banking Users | you will use your existing login credentials to login to the new system for the first time on/or after October 4, 2021, 12:00 PM CST. Then, you will follow the screen prompts to setup your new digital banking experience.

New Digital Banking Users | you will need to download the CU1 Mobile App on/or after October 4, 2021, 12:00 PM CST, and register for digital banking, or register online at creditunion1.org.

Our new digital banking service has one seamless user experience across online and mobile, utilizing a single User ID and Password.

What is a Secure Access Code (SAC)?

A Secure Access Code (SAC) is a unique, single-use 6-digit code which protects against fraud by safeguarding your online transactions and sensitive information. An SAC is another level of authentication in addition to your Login ID and password, providing you stronger online security.

How will my SAC be sent to me?

You choose how you want to receive your SAC: by text, email, or phone. We need your current contact information for you to receive your SAC.

Do I have to enter an SAC every time I log in or conduct an online transaction?

Once you have setup an SAC, you have the option to register your computer or device. Once your computer or device is registered, you will skip the SAC requirement when you log in again. To register your computer or device, click, "Register Device."

I'm enrolled in Online Banking. Can I use my Online Banking login credentials for Mobile Banking?

Yes. Online and Mobile Banking is one seamless user experience utilizing a single User ID and Password.

How do I access Mobile Banking?

CU1 Mobile Banking is available to everyone. Simply download the Credit Union 1 mobile app on the App Store or Google Play, and follow the on-screen prompts.

How much does Mobile Banking cost?

You may use the service for no cost, however, your wireless carrier may charge you fees related to this service.

Is digital banking secure?

Yes, our digital banking service utilizes best practice security services such as HTTPS, TLS encryption, password access, biometrics and application time-out when not in use. Only the devices that you enroll can access your bank accounts and no account data is ever stored on your device.

How do I access Digital Banking on my mobile phone's browser?

After successful enrollment, your phone will receive a text message with your Digital Banking URL.

Is your digital banking app supported on my mobile phone?

Our Mobile Banking is supported on most app is supported on most iPhone®, iPad®, and AndroidTM devices. You can also use mobile phones with a mobile web browser that supports cookies.

Will my digital banking username change?

Existing digital banking users will use the same username to login to the new digital banking system.

Will I have access to my eStatement history?

eStatement history prior to October 1, 2021 will not be available via Digital Banking after September 30, 2021. With this in mind, we recommend downloading and printing a year’s worth of statements for your records before September 30, 2021. This can be done by logging in to Digital Banking and selecting Accounts> Electronic Documents.

Yes. You will need to use a recent version (last 2 released) of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari or the last version of Microsoft Edge.

Can I access Bill Pay through digital banking?

Yes. Bill Pay will be available in the new digital banking system.

Will I need to do anything after the upgrade regarding Bill Pay?

All previously entered Bill Pay information (i.e. payees, scheduled payments, recurring payments, etc.) will remain in your online Bill Pay profile. No action is required. We recommend that you verify everything once you get logged in.

I have payments due during the upgrade process. What should I do?

You will not be able to access Online Bill Pay September 30, 2021 at 7:00 PM CST - October 4, 2021 at 12:00 PM CST. We highly recommend adjusting any payments that are due during our core conversion timeframe to ensure a timely payment.

Will I have access to Popmoney after the conversion?

Yes. Popmoney will be available in the new digital banking system.
