Core conversion

This is your headquarters for all things core conversion!

The core processing system is the computer software and supporting hardware we use to maintain member deposit and loan accounts, process transactions, support services such as Debit Cards and Online Banking, and more.

Credit Union 1 is committed to progressing with the best quality products, services, and technology. It is necessary for us to upgrade our core processor, and Credit Union 1 has selected Corelation KeyStone as our new processing provider. 

The conversion will take place October 1, 2021.

At the same time as the core conversion, CU1 will be migrating to a new online/mobile banking platform, Q2.

Corelation’s KeyStone has been designed from its beginnings to be focused on the members and their relationships with the credit union. Not only is the user interface intuitive and easy to learn, our team will be able to serve members more efficiently by viewing the entire member relationship from one screen. Key Dates

September 30, 2021 | The core system upgrade will begin at 7:00 pm CST.  Online & Mobile Banking will be offline, and Shared Branching services will be unavailable beginning at 7:00 pm CST through Monday morning October 4, 2021.

October 1, 2021 | CU1 Closed

October 2, 2021 | CU1 Closed

October 3, 2021 | CU1 Closed

October 4, 2021 | CU1 Open For Business with our shiny new core system! We expect to resume full-service operations by 9:00 am CST.

How to Prepare

As we prepare for the conversion to a new core system, our primary goal is to limit the impact on our members. We are significantly investing in technology, time, and commitment and are working diligently to make the transition as smooth and seamless as possible for you.

What You Can Do To Prepare

  1. Make sure your contact information is correct on our system.
  2. Keep an eye out for communications regarding the conversion to come via statements, email, on our website and social media, and through Online Banking.
