Sam Hamilton

VP Community Relations

Throughout Sam’s career at CU1, Sam has been a driving force for promoting financial literacy and strengthening Credit Union 1’s ties to our community through financial education opportunities, support of charitable initiatives, and volunteer efforts of our team members.

Sam’s continued commitment to the ideal of people helping people will be at the core of his new role as VP of Community Relations. In this role, Sam will focus on expanding community outreach initiatives and fostering partnerships with collegiate athletic conferences and community partners in the areas surrounding CU1 branches. Partnerships with athletic conferences will both support student-athletes on the field and bolster their futures off the field through financial education programming. In the communities we serve, Sam will oversee participation in community-focused events, financial literacy programming through the branches, and charitable outreach. Sam will also spearhead the expansion of Credit Union 1’s charitable giving through an evolved vision of CU1’s community foundation, ensuring maximum community impact and member engagement.

Sam’s dedication to helping others, both within the organization and in the wider community, is driven by his belief in the power of collaboration—building strong, supportive networks to uplift those in need. Through his leadership, CU1 will continue to grow its impact, fostering a culture of giving, education, and empowerment.
