Barb has spent her entire career in the financial services industry including a loan company, mortgage company, banks, savings and loan, and credit unions. She has been a valuable Credit Union 1 team member for over 13 years starting with merging credit union Danville Bell Credit Union.
“I love being able to help our members reach their financial goals by showing them how our products and services can better their lives by saving them money and time. By living our core values, I strive to improve the situation of every member with which I come into contact.”
Barb feels there is always an opportunity to make a member feel appreciated and cared for. Her mantra is, “Every member, every time!”
As a recent empty nester with the last of her 4 children moving out of the house, Barb and her husband of 33 years enjoy living in rural East Central Illinois. In her free time Barb loves to read and spend time with her kids and 2 grandkids.
