CU1 donates $20,000 FHLB of Chicago COVID-19 Relief Grant to NEIU

Credit Union 1 (CU1) as a member of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago (FHLB) since 2016 worked in partnership FHLBank Chicago as part of a COVID-19 Relief Grant Program extending grants up to $20,000 to support small businesses and nonprofit organizations in their communities.

Credit Union 1 is proud to announce that the partnership with FHLB Chicago awarded a grant to Northeastern Illinois University in the amount of a $20,000. “Because of COVID-19 many people and businesses face financial challenges related to its devastating impact, we feel fortunate at CU1 to be able to provide this grant for our nonprofit business member in our community”, said CEO/President Todd Gunderson, “we look forward to a long beneficial relationship for the community, the University and our members.”
