Phil Balk joined Credit Union 1 in 2021 with over 9 years of Commercial Real Estate banking experience; including specialized experience in Community Development and Special Assets lending.
Originally from the east side of Michigan, Phil lived in Cleveland, OH for a few years before moving to Chicago in late 2019.
Phil has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Management from Rochester College. Outside of work he enjoys exploring the outdoors through traveling, camping, and hiking.
