Nov. 25, 2019 — Credit Union 1 Board of Directors is pleased to announce the selection of Todd Gunderson as their new President/CEO effective January 1st, 2020. Gunderson will succeed Paul Simons, long time President/CEO retiring at year end and serve on the Board of Directors for the $one billion credit union headquartered in Illinois with branch operations in Indiana and Nevada.
Prior to being named President/CEO, Todd served as Credit Union 1's Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer overseeing branch operations, call center, sales, marketing and facilities and serves on the Credit Union Center Board of Directors. With 25 years’ industry experience and serving executive leadership roles at Wells Fargo, Gunderson has expertise in strategic planning, risk management and lending operations. He holds Finance and Corporate Communications degrees from Buena Vista University.
